Booking terms & conditions
By confirming a booking with Luma Entertainment, the hirer agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Performance Details
The band typically performs 2 x 60-minute live sets, with a break in between. Extended sets can be arranged by prior agreement and may incur an additional fee.
The hirer must confirm the anticipated start and end times of the performance in advance.
2. Payment Terms
The performance fee will be agreed upon at the time of booking.
A 20% non-refundable deposit will be requested to secure the booking. Bookings are not confirmed until this has been paid.
Full payment is required no later than one week before the day of the performance, unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangement.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the Hirer: If the hirer cancels the booking within 30 days of the event date, a cancellation fee may apply, up to the full agreed fee depending on proximity to the event.
Cancellation by the Band: In the unlikely event that the band must cancel, all efforts will be made to provide a suitable replacement act or issue a full refund of any deposit paid.
4. Technical and Venue Requirements
To ensure a professional performance, the following must be provided by the hirer:
At least 2 x 13-amp mains power sockets, located near the performance area.
A clear and level performance space of approximately 3m x 4m for bands.
A safe and secure route for unloading/loading of equipment, with suitable access to the stage or performance area.
At least 1.5 hours for setup and sound check prior to the performance start time.
5. Hospitality Requirements
If the band is required to arrive before 6:00 PM, the hirer must provide adequate food and soft drinks for all band members.
A safe and secure dressing room must be made available for the band to change clothes and store personal belongings. This must not be a public area (e.g., toilets or shared spaces).
6. Liability and Insurance
The band is not liable for any damage or injury caused by guests, venue staff, or third parties.
All equipment used by the band is PAT tested, and Public Liability Insurance cover is available on request.
7. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, fire, illness, transport failure, or government restrictions).
